ABOUT THE MASTER OF SCIENCE IN PHYSICS

This program is especially designed for working professionals who have an undergraduate degree (or equivalent preparation) in physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, or computer science. The program offers:

• Basic graduate-level courses for returning students
• Special content courses for science teachers
• Technical courses for working scientists and engineers

The undergraduate background of prospective students should include intermediate-level physics courses, or their equivalents in other physical sciences or engineering.

Administration
The Master of Science in Physics program is administered by UW Professional & Continuing Education. Course registration, tuition and fees, and all other purely administrative matters are handled by UW Professional & Continuing Education.
